Everyone is doing well. Eating, sleeping and growing! I could not resist posting these pictures of the puppies sleeping upside down just  like mommy Ditto. Purple boy and red girl (on top of orange girl & yellow boy) showcase the "upward facing corgi" pose to perfection!

5 Days Old!

The crew is 5 days old today and everyone seems to be doing well and gaining! There are still some smaller ones but they eat good, scoot around  and are steadily catching up with their siblings. Of course, no one has yet to catch up with green collar girl who is still the biggest in the litter! :-) Ditto is being a GREAT mommy and it seems that motherhood agrees with her.

Puppy Swag

Thought I would post a picture of the presents the puppies got from their G-ma Penni and great G-ma (my mom). My mom actually went and got an extra binkie and a toy because she did not want one of the puppies not to have anything! She is so funny. :-)

Puppies and mommy are doing fine today. No weight loss, so I think we are moving in the right direction.

It is hard work being a puppy! They are getting their beauty sleep so that they can grow up big and strong!

Breakfast is Served

Everyone did fine overnight and I was actually able to get some much needed sleep. :-) No one lost any weight and some even had a slight increase at weigh in this morning. I still have to supplement the 3 littlest ones until they catch up with their siblings, so only time will tell if the trend continues.

Ditto/Chase Puppies Are Finally Here!

The Ditchas have finally arrived. Ditto delivered 10 puppies in an approximately 4 hour time span in the wee hours this morning. One male was not breathing when born so there are now 9 puppies. There are a few small ones but overall the puppies look good. There are 5 boys and 4 girls with 5 reds (1 maybe is a red brindle) and 4 dark brindles.
Ditto is being a VERY good momma and is immensely attentive to her new smooshies! We have decided on a Tennessee Williams plays theme. Their rick-rack color names are red girl, purple boy, yellow boy, aqua male, white girl, orange girl, olive male, navy male and green girl. I will try and post some individual pictures this weekend.

Puppies are almost here!!

The Chase/Ditto puppies are coming. Ditto should be ready to pop any day now. Due date is this Wednesday or Thursday. We are expecting 7-8 puppies but are not sure about colors right now. For those of you new to the blog, Ditto was bred to a very handsome and talented brindle male named Chase (Am/Can CH C-Myste Baledwr Pursuit of Happiness CD HSAs RN VC CGC TT).
