Thought I would post a picture of the presents the puppies got from their G-ma Penni and great G-ma (my mom). My mom actually went and got an extra binkie and a toy because she did not want one of the puppies not to have anything! She is so funny. :-)
Puppies and mommy are doing fine today. No weight loss, so I think we are moving in the right direction.
I didn't plan very well -- thought seven, maybe eight. Not enough toys to cover the actual count. Your mom is a jewel! The reality is that (once they can see) they will all want the same toy anyway. I can't wait until their eyes begin opening and they become interested in one another and in their toys.
ReplyDeleteHey, I was expecting 7 or 8 at the most too! My thought was the same as yours that they always want one toy anyways.
ReplyDeleteFirst, congratulations on everyone gaining weight. You are DEFINITELY doing the right things! My very first litter EVER was a Rottweiler litter of 4. They received 4 latex chicks coming out of half shell eggs--one each--or so we thought! The mom, Freya, had decided they were ALL HERS! Anyone could come and play with the newborn puppies--but you were NOT allowed to touch her yellow chicks!
